Laboratorio Firenze is a leading school of applied arts, from both a professional and artistic point of view. If you are looking for undergraduate courses, you are still in time to join us.

Enrolment guide

There is still time to join us at Laboratorio Firenze.

We have a limited number of places available in undergraduate courses.

If you missed out on a place, changed your mind or didn’t receive the results you were expecting, you can find the alternative option that best suits you.

In this guide, you will find all the advice you need to enrol at Laboratorio Firenze, including information on all other available laboratories.

Our registration process is not currently affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. Nonetheless, Laboratorio Firenze follows all the recommendations of the Department of Health, Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the World Health Organization. As events evolve, we will continue to update our website, so we invite you to visit it regularly.

Latest advice and guidance. If you are an international student, you must apply directly to Laboratorio Firenze. Find a course with places available for international students and scroll down to “How to apply”. We advise you to do this in advance so that you have enough time to apply for a level 4 (General) visa and an English test (SELT) if necessary.

Register

If you have decided not to start studying at university this year or you missed out on a place, you can enrol in one of our courses with places available at Laboratorio Firenze. We recommend you apply as early as possible in order to have access to a wider range of courses. Our places are limited.

Step 1. Choose your course:

Consult our courses with available places to find the most suitable one for you.

Please read carefully the admission requirements in the “How to apply” section of the chosen course page before applying.

Many practical courses require submission of a portfolio as part of the selection process, as well as a self-declaration and academic references.

Step 2. Registration:

  • Once you have chosen the course you wish to take, you must apply through our website.
  • After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email.
  • We will contact you by email to ask you to send us further information. If you have requested a course that requires submission of a portfolio, we will send you the appropriate instructions.

Step 3. Supplying further information:

  • Please attach any additional information and your portfolio (if necessary).
  • Depending on the course you have chosen, you may also be asked to carry out an interview with an admissions tutor to discuss your portfolio.
  • After reviewing and assessing your application, we will contact you to inform you of the outcome.

Sign up for a new discipline

The choice of a new discipline can be made from 30 September 2020. After that date, application forms can be sent for those courses that still have places available. We will evaluate your request and make you an offer. If you are still waiting for results, we will confirm your request when you receive them.

Step 1. Choose your course

  • Consult our courses with available places to find the most suitable one for you. Check the course page carefully to find out what the specific admission requirements are.
  • Depending on the course you are applying for, you may need to submit a portfolio to support your application.

Step 2. Self-application

  • Please fill out our self-application form for consideration. We will update our web pages when the self-application form is available, starting July 15.
  • As part of the automatic application, you may need to attach a digital portfolio of your work. You can do this by email.

Step 3. The day of the results

  • If you have completed a self-application form and received an indicative offer, your offer will be confirmed on the day the results of that application are obtained.
  • If you have not applied before, you can apply on the day you get your test results. Simply fill out the self-application form from the link on the course page or contact us via our chat if you need any help.

Step 4. Application update

  • If your application is accepted and you are offered a place, you will have to indicate your choice of course. We will inform you in due course how and when to do so.
  • If you have not yet applied to Laboratorio Firenze this year, you must register your details and submit your application.
  • Once the offer has been confirmed, you will receive information about your enrolment and the start of the chosen course via e-mail.
